Terms of Service

InstantMediaKit lets speakers, authors, podcasters, coaches and other experts build a hosted online media kit and publish it at a personal address (such as your-name.instantmediakit.com) or a custom domain you own. Features and plans may change over time as we improve the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for everything that happens under it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You may manage more than one kit under a single account; each kit is billed as its own subscription.

• Free. You can use a Free kit with no card and no trial, with a limited set of features.
• Pro. Pro is $19.97 per month or $197 per year. Paid plans renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel.
• Build For You. Build For You is a one-time payment of $997 that includes your first year of Pro while we build your kit; after the first year it renews at $197 per year unless you change or cancel it.
• Automatic renewal. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Your paid features continue until the end of the current billing period, after which the kit moves to the Free plan and stays online.
• Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Canceling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.
• Price changes. We may change prices or plan features. We will give reasonable notice of a price increase that affects your renewal.
• Taxes. Prices do not include taxes, which may be added where required.

We may offer promotional codes, member codes or complimentary (“lifetime”) access, including through Powerteam programs. These benefits are personal to the recipient, have no cash value, and may be subject to additional conditions. We may modify or end a program, and we may revoke access granted in error or obtained through misuse.

You keep ownership of the bios, photos, videos, logos, testimonials and other materials you add to your kit (“Your Content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, resize and display Your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service and delivering your kit to the public and to the people you share it with.

You are responsible for Your Content, and you represent that:

• you own it or have the rights to use and share it, including any photos, logos, music or quotes;
• it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law; and
• testimonials and claims are truthful and used with permission.

We may remove content or suspend a kit that we believe violates these Terms or the law, or in response to a valid legal request.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing or harmful content;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or probe or break our security;
• interfere with or overload the Service, or scrape it except as permitted; or
• resell or provide the Service to others except through features we offer for that purpose.

The AI Kit Builder can draft bios, topics, scripts and other text from information you provide. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete — you are responsible for reviewing and editing every draft before you publish it, and for making sure the facts and claims are true.

If you connect a custom domain, you are responsible for owning it and configuring it correctly. The Service relies on third parties — including Stripe (payments), and our hosting, email, video and analytics providers — whose own terms may apply to their part of the Service.

The Service itself — our software, design, templates and brand, including the InstantMediaKit® name — belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights in them except to use the Service as allowed here.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us. If your account is canceled or terminated, we keep your kit data for 90 days so you can reactivate or export it, after which we may delete it. A kit that is unpaid or unavailable may show a “kit unavailable” page.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that it will get you booked or paid.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, InstantMediaKit and Powerteam International will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of Your Content or your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, to the extent allowed by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
